ABOUT US

Chabad Islington serves the diverse and fast-growing Jewish community living in N1. Its founders are Rabbi Mendy and Hadasa Korer, a young couple with a big vision: to breathe new life into one of London's most historic communities.

Mendy and Hadasa founded Chabad Islington in 2011 and organise events, Shabbat dinners, educational activities, kids' clubs and informal get-togethers for all ages - everything for an active, engaged and vibrant Jewish community.

MEET MENDY & HADASA

Londoner Rabbi Mendy was ordained at Chabad Yeshiva, New York. He's worked across the world in community building and outreach, from Namibia to Croatia to the Caribbean Islands.

Hadasa, from Belgium, studied at seminary in Israel and has run community and school programmes in California and London.

Now firmly based in Islington, Mendy and Hadasa combine traditional Jewish values with an inventive approach to create a warm welcome for Jews of all backgrounds and ages.

GET IN TOUCH!

Mendy and Hadasa's approach is relaxed and non-judgemental, offering you the chance to question and experience Judaism in a fresh and friendly way.
