DAY 0 Intro to the experience
Start the Chanukah experience by printing the doughnut day tracker. After completing each day’s activity, kids will be asked to decorate one doughnut, getting to the end of Chanukah with eight tasty colourful doughnuts!

DAY 1 Elephants
Learn about the use of war elephants in the battles between the Seleucid Empire and the people of Judea.
Inspired by the activity from the Estorik Collection of Modern Italian Art, use egg boxes to build an elephant.

Today we are learning a little bit about the Second Temple, known as Beit Hamikdash in modern Hebrew.

DAY 3 Hiding
Shh, the Greeks are close, we need to create a hiding den to have a safe space to speak..!

DAY 4 Maccabees
Today we are learning a little bit about the Second Temple, known as Beit Hamikdash in modern Hebrew.
Little Angel Theatre has created a shadow puppet performance activity. First follow the instructions on how to create your theatre box, then watch the video to learn how to make your puppets.
Little Angel Theatre has used the theme of a circus, but you can choose whatever theme you like, you could try and link it about the Maccabees!
