The Great Matzah Bake Off

This Passover, Chabad Islington is turning up the heat with the Great Matzah Bake Off, an unforgettable event where Jewish children and families will experience the holiday of Passover in a whole new way.

Beginning with a visit to the Matzah Mill, children thresh, winnow, and grind their very own flour just like our ancestors did! From there, teams will compete head to head in a fierce competition to make the perfect matzah: thin, crispy, and just the right shape. A panel of judges will decide on the perfect matzah, and one team will go home with the title of The Ultimate Matzah Masters! Once the flour settles, children will design their very own Afikomen Bags, gleaming with gold leaf, to make their seder tables dazzle.
