Writer's picture: Chabad IslingtonChabad Islington

On Wednesday 27 February an elderly man was beaten up in a horrifying antisemitic attack in Highbury Place. A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection to the attack. A rally took place the following day outside Highbury & Islington station, attended by crowds of residents of all faiths and none, protesting the attack and showing their solidarity with the Jewish community. Please read Islington Council's statement signed by local politicians, other faith leaders as well as Chabad Islington.
